According to Terry Murray and the Kings, Rob Scuderi will attempt to skate, on his own and without pads, on Sunday morning. That would be his first time on the ice since he suffered his lower-body injury at Tampa Bay. Earlier, after practice, Murray said Scuderi is “doing everything in the off-ice part of it. … Personally, I’m hoping that he’s ready to go with the two games up in Canada.” That would be Wednesday in Edmonton and Thursday in Vancouver.
Deadmarsh and Allison are still Day To Day

Perfect….Because AEG wont televise the games in Canada. This makes perfect since. Heres a question
“If a game is played in Canada and no one can see or hear it, does it still count in the standings?”

Great to see Scuds doing OK.
Now, off on the tangent. Since whoever is in charge of broadcast rights of Canadian games seems to be an idiot why don’t we just do the same thing and refuse to allow the games played in the US not be broadcast in Canada.
This has been going on for I don’t know how many years and it’s never resolved. We don’t get to see Kings games in Canada.
Seriously, what is the problem and how can it be corrected?

And your point is… what? This isn’t a database sim where the duration of an injury is precisely known at the moment it occurs in the simulation.

I seriously doubt AEG has any influence on what games are televised.
How is the following constructive? “Deadmarsh and Allison are still Day To Day.”

FWIW, NHLCI has the Canadian games…but I have to subscribe to get the Kings games anyway.

AEG has all the power Kenneth…They have to buy the rights from the Canadians broadcaster and that takes money….
Oh shoot I forgot about the money part

Deadmarsh and Allison are Day to Day
This is something that continues to swirl in my head.
Because we still dont have a time frame on their return to the line up. Its still hush hush like La-Barbara having a personal issue and has to leave the team. AKA Iverson

Why would AEG buy the rights? Fox is the broadcaster in the area.

Trust me, they don’t televise Kings games here in Canada either..but luckily I have Center Ice so I get to see them all…

You telling me that AEG does not have to give their Okay-Dokay to anyone who wants to broadcast their team?
[Reply]
AEG is not a media company. They’re not keeping you from seeing their games. Most likely, there’s no company that IS a media company and wants to buy the LA Area rights to the Canadian Kings broadcasts. IIRC, Channel 9 (and before that, 5) used to do that sort of thing.
