Luc's plaque

One more quick picture…this of Luc Robitaille’s Hall of Fame plaque. The inscription reads as follows:

“A prolific junior star in his native Quebec, Luc Robitaille joined the Los Angeles Kings in 1986-87, scoring 45 goals to win the Calder Trophy and earn 2nd Team All-Star honours. The eight-time All-Star would spend 14 of his 19 NHL seasons with the Kings, recording four 50+ goal seasons and eight consecutive 40+ goal seasons, to retire as the all-time leader among left wingers in both goals (668) and points (1,394). He would also set a single season record for left wingers with 125 points in 1993 and captured the Stanley Cup in 2002 as a member of the Detroit Red Wings.”

That’s awesome! Hope to visit the Hall someday.

I didn’t know his middle name was Jean-Marie.

Proud day for Kings fans, but the likeness of Luc on the plaque is poor.

Thanks Rich! It’s great to be able to see this up close. Someday I hope to be able to make it up to the HHOF to see it in person, but for now, this is awesome.

I have been to the HHOF a few times and the whole place is just full of this amazing energy. A must for anybody in the Toronto area.
