On a different thread I stated I would have picked Parse (the first to post stating so) and Smyth and left simmonds on the bench. Although he (WS) actually won one last year but as a result of a flub that barely crossed the line-there is a good reason why he has only been picked three times. Frolov would have been on my list as the Russia v Russia angle(please don’t blast me if they come from semi-newly independent satellite countries) as he is HOT and you never know when he is due for one and Smyth could be due as well so I am disappointed we let one (victory)/two points get away.

The team played great and TM has done a great job getting this team to perform no doubt about it. He is not above reproach.

I get (hardly) that since I/or anyone that criticizes tm or dl or mostly disagrees with you and/or your motely crue that I/we are haters per your earlier post: “the guy you and every other TM hater would have never used.” (So you would have used him?) You don’t know how I feel or think so get that chip off your shoulder. Oooh I forgot you played hockey so …

I like tm and respect for the most part what he has brought to the organization. I will admit that I am concerned about the Frolov issue and how they/will handle it keeps me on the fence about him and dl until it is resolved. Concerned about letting our best player go for peanuts or packaging him for another “has been” gamble. I hope the three can live in harmony this season and many future successful playoff bound seasons. We will have to wait and see.

I am fatigued being patient on the promising seasons and hopefully many on this site are too.

It’s great to debate and disagree but not everyone has the same opinion on all issues- there is no reason for the so called regulars that disagree with a non card carrying flock member to fleece him using degrading comments because he/she thinks that Fro is a stud, or can state legitimate reasons in their minds why tm and dl and foxy can be boneheads at times. Hell, we are all human last time I looked.

I generally enjoy a lot of posts from others I don’t agree with at all times like quisp’s take on Matt Moulson or does he still want Fro on the third line? Probably and I will never agree with him on that one. Della’s comical links! LOL

You’re obviously intelligent, so I assume that when you say “lighten up frances” or “pick up ya game, son” you know what it is you are doing (i.e. using loaded words and phrases). I do, and have done it. But, the fact that I would, and have, been deleted for saying less has not sunk in with you. So, again, I say don’t presume to know what it’s like to be on one side of the grass when you’re not.

I’ll just ask again, if you’ve ever witnessed the foul language and vitriol directed against Anthony, and if you can recognize that it is against the rules. Usually, when someone is lashing out because of a supposed ‘Miscarriage of justice’, ex: you being banned, it’s usually because they’ve never put humility into the equation and looked at what it was they did to get banned in the first place. It’s always ‘everyone else’s fault’ their idealisms are not understood. I’m not going to speak for you, but the impression you’re giving is speaking volumes.

If my simple, straightforward statement was too much for you, I’m sorry. Next time I’ll write a 1000 word essay that says the same thing. I just don’t think it reasonable to label people’s viewpoints when those people SPECIFICALLY took that label off in their own words. Like your words are more right and important than their own when describing their personal feelings? Sounds a little more Big Brother to me than anything Quisp, NYKing or myself had said.

In other words: If I say I don’t want to ban or shut down anyone, I just want them to respect others as they would want respect given to them, I probably mean just that. Hard to place an agenda over that and for jiminy sakes, this is a BLOG, not the government.
