Jonathan Quick’s postgame thoughts…
(on the game…)
QUICK: “We played a really good first period. They might have been a little tired. They just got back from a six-game road trip. They might not have had their feet underneath them. So I think we got the best of them there in the first period, but Nabokov held them in there. He played great in the first. They really stepped it up there in the second and third.”
(on keeping the Thornton line off the board…)
QUICK: “Those first couple lines there, those are some of the best players in the league. It takes a team effort. All six guys have to playing well in order to shut them down like that. I thought the boys played well. I thought they did a good job.”
