Kings 4, Columbus 1

The Kings scored on a 5-on-3 advantage, and an even bigger advantage after Antoine Vermette broke his stick. Jarret Stoll passed, from the middle of the left circle, to Anze Kopitar in the middle of the right circle, and Kopitar scored on a one-time shot with 57 seconds left in the period.

Kopitar now leads the NHL in goals (10) and points (21).

He is not just on fire, he is Dante’s freakin’ inferno!

Also, that was the funniest check by Dustin Brown I’ve ever seen. Or maybe he was just trying to make sure they didn’t have too many men on the ice?

dude let us all take a step back and say, that watching the Kings play like this makes the last few years worth it..

let’s just shut them down for the 3rd. i would want nothing more than a boring 3rd with no goals allowed…

I do think it was pretty lame that for as long as I can remember, the last minute of the second period has been sponsored by McDonalds, right up through Thursday’s game, and so Sunday comes along, the Kings get a two man advantage, SCORE, and… presto, we get a coupon for some free stuff at CARL’s JR. IF we buy some chicken sandwich.

I’m not saying it was staged, but I do see a McDonalds in the concourse at Staples, not a Carl’s Jr.

I also would love to know why they took the WETZEL’S PRETZELS concession away from the area around section 110 in the concourse area. The thing was certainly successful for many years.

That being said, my doctor thanks you (Kings management) on both counts.
