It’s nice to see the Kings beating teams that they lost to in previous games (Phoenix, Columbus). It says a lot about the improving team play and confidence. For two teams that each won a game the night before, it’s also nice to see the Kings come out and establish themselves early. I was worried tonight that Mason might be hot, but the Kings didn’t seem to let that phase them in any way. They came out and played their game and held off a furious attack after the Scuderi check. Good composure, good play. Go Kings!

Frolov 11pts in 11 games
Who says he’s been terrible this season?
by the way, Kopitar is a BEAST. He ain’t no passenger! He’s doing it all.

I’m happy Fro found his game!

Great to see the Kings keeping the pressure on when leading going into the 3rd in the last couple of games!
[Reply]
THE BEST game they have played this season. A full team effort. Glad I was there.

HBD – Fro has 6 points in the 3 games he’s been back, 5 points in the previous 8 games, was benching him the right call? Certainly looks like it…this is the Fro we all know, good to see.

Keep it rollin!!!

The Fro is alive and well. The Fro stays!!

I knew if he bounced back that TM was going to get more credit for benching him than Fro would ever get for his own effort…but I thought he was outstanding. Kudos!

Good game, great result. Agree with Kevco this was their best game of the year. Each time Columbus tried to mount a charge the Kings responded immediately. There weren’t any long stretches during the game when it seemed like the Kings lost their intensity or focus.
The Kings are improving with each game. The Kings this year are fun to watch.
Go Kings Go!!

As with most of the other Kings Frolov was awesome tonight. His puck possession game was very strong. He had several take-aways to go with the scoring effort. Brown looked very good too. He seems to be playing more like Frolov in the sense of playing hard along the boards and controlling the puck with more intensity than before. This line looks great.
Parse looks very comfortable at the NHL level. He hustles, makes great passes, and anticipates the play better than most new players up from the minors.
Drewiske is quietly becoming a tremendous asset to this team.
Murray has this team improving every game.

The Kings are on fire!

Exactly on Frolov, House Burning Down! Why wasn’t he named first star last night? I know the Kings orginization treats him like trash, but never thought the media would too!
[Reply]
Better! We did not sit back the whole time after getting a big lead. Still, The Kings need to play 60 minutes!!!
