Wayne Simmonds, alert in front of the Phoenix net, picked up a loose puck and beat Bryzgalov 9:12 into the third period. Anze Kopitar cycled — and picked up his third assist of the night — and Sean O’Donnell sent to the puck to the net, where Simmonds pounced on it for his fourth goal of the season.
This marks the first time this season that Bryzgalov has allowed four goals.
