Kings 3, Phoenix 2

Scott Parse gets his first NHL point, and Jarret Stoll gets his second goal of the game. Parse came down the right side on a 2-on-1, faked the shot a bit and then passed across to Stoll, who cut to the front of the net and tucked the puck behind Bryzgalov 2:16 into the third period.

I don’t know about Simmer staying on the top line, but when JW comes back I’m thinking Parse needs to stay and Purcell needs to go back to Manchester. I know it’s only 1 game but Parse looked better tonight than Purcell has all season.

LOL, that one pass made by Parse was a better offensive play than Purcell has made in three years in a Kings uniform…
