Manchester goalie Jonathan Bernier will be out for tonight’s game against Providence. Bernier, who made 40 saves in a shutout of Bridgeport last night, had a precautionary X-ray on a bone in his wrist, according to Kings assistant GM (and Monarchs GM) Ron Hextall. Bernier is schedule for a MRI on Monday but isn’t expected to miss time. After tonight, the Monarchs don’t play again until Friday.

Who knows…If we score enough goals against Bryzgalov…We might see Jason Labarbera. Yes Jason is the back-up!

RJC76,
Chill dude. You don’t like the stats, fine, just skip on down.

I hope all is well with Jonathan. Let’s not forget that we also have Jeff Zatkoff to root for. He’s having a pretty good year himself.

True, guess i’m having a bad day, my apologies.
But at least throw in the right thread. I’m pretty sure there was going to be gameday thread.

dMan, whoops sorry for the typo.

eh, I’ve been called worse

How are these percentages determined? Based on last game where 9 goals were scored, it would seem these percentages are very irrelevant.

Zatkoff has played well when he has been called upon here in Manchester .. he has played in a couple games so far and has one win and one close loss in those games. This is an opportunity for him to shine against the Providence Bruins, he has a great team in front of him first of all and for extra motivation Ron Hextall is in town for the weekend

no Hickey tonight…

Anybody hear why no Hickey tonight?
[Reply]
No Hickey tonight – probably because he sucked last night. I think last night’s game was by far the worst game Hickey has played for the Monarchs.

Once again the Monarchs had to sign Manchester native, Rick Laurendeau, a 49 year old accountant who plays in the local beer league to a PTO for tonights game.
Thank goodness he didn’t have to play.
