Two quick goals. First, Alexander Frolov picked off a pass in the neutral zone, brought the puck up the left side, then fed a perfect centering pass to Wayne Simmonds. Simmonds then did a nice job of controlling the puck and, as he skated to the front of the net, went to his backhand and beat Auld with 4:23 left in the period.
Dallas scored just 37 seconds later. Rob Scuderi’s attempt to send the puck in the Dallas zone got blocked by James Neal, who then picked up the puck, started a 3-on-1 break and beat Jonathan Quick with a wrist shot to make it 2-1 Kings.
Effin’ Scuderi.

Quick is holding that glove about 6 inches too low. Shooters know his weakness and he is getting schooled.

Simmonds!

Right, because goalies never just get beat by a good shot eh? Quick played the shooter well, and just got beat. It happens on 2 on 1 rushes sometimes.

That Kopi goal was SIIIICK! And Frolov’s pass to Simmonds was great! Nice way to finish. Simmer driving hard to the net. These lines seem to be working out tonight.

That goal was Scuderi’s unfortunately. He didn’t get the puck deep and it went back the other way 2-1.

Yeah hate to say it but….Scuderi effed up!

The guy behind me in the nosebleed sections says they have childrens books on how to beat Quick on that shot. The guy in front of me has naked girlie pictures in his phone. I love LA.

Action: I’m not talking smack but stating an observation. Quicker has been getting beat on that glove side. These guys watch tape and KNOW how to shoot. Any weakness and they’ll pick it apart.
