Anyone else think that looked a lot like Anze Kopitar’s first NHL goal, when he went around Chris Pronger? This time it was Stephane Robidas, as Kopitar skated in, cut to the net and tucked the puck past Alex Auld 3:54 into the first period. Dustin Brown and Ryan Smyth got assists.

That was freaking sick. He went in 1 on 4 and went around two of them hanging all over him to bag that thing.

Speed kills and Kopitar has it tonight!

    Awesome play by Kopi.

Congratulations to Smyth for getting an assist while at the bench getting a replacement stick.

Both the goal and assist go on each players’ respective personal highlight reel.
