Justin Williams passes the puck to Crosby against the Pens last year and nobody says word one (well… except for me and a few other people who were bitter about the trade).

I’m starting to see an ugly pattern of rumors before action:
Cammy was painted as a head-case… Traded
O’Sullivan was a problem in the locker room… Traded
Frolov isn’t passionate enough… Soon to be traded

We bring these guys up in our system then claim that they are all mentally faulted in some manner or another such that they aren’t fit for the team. Each player is rather productive in their own right, yet none of them are good enough for the Kings whom apparently are stifled with talent as exhibited by the number of playoff games we’ve attended in the past 5 years.

We’ve got the talent. We’re just not making good use of it.

- Someone tell me why nobody is complaining about the defensive strategy that we gave Murray accolades for last year. Do you consider an average of 3 goals against per game good?
-Someone explain to me why Ivanans (who can be singlehandedly blamed for a minimum of 3 goals this season for unnecessary penalties) is given more playing time for reckless play.
-Ivanans, Harrold, Richardson, and Lewis combine for a +/- of “-9″ only 9 games into the season and have 1 point between them. I know this is not supposed to be a goal producing line, but they account for a goal against each game and are on the ice for an average of 10 minutes a game. I consider this to be a liability, why doesn’t the coach?

I don’t agree that the team played better without Frolov. The first line played better than usual, but their play has nothing to do with Frolov or the modifications thereof. Threats are only short term motivators. If as a coach, your only way of inciting your team is to threaten them, then you’ve failed as a coach.

Everyone needs to get off of this CRAP on FRO bandwagon.

First of all, and I can’t say this enough,

Frolov had just 1 bad game this season. That was against the Jackets. Yes Frolov was responsible for Columbus’ first goal at the end of the 1st period (That for some reason deflated the team OH MY MY!). After ONE PERIOD. ONE PERIOD.
The game was still a tie after ONE PERIOD! Then the entire team plays like S***. Yet coaches/management (and the Koolaid drinkers) blame everything on Frolov? I don’t like this.

Now back to what Dustin said..

Did he just say about Frolov, “he needs to bring his `A’ game.”??

Wait a damn minute.

Where were YOU last season, Brownie? You know, those last 22 games of the season? Where was YOUR “A” game?

You weren’t even playing good THIS SEASON until you played in your home state of New York! Now you’re playing awesome, and good for you. Keep it up!

Now this Frolov stuff has to stop. Play him where he, and WE, can succeed as a team. That means stop putting him with 2 defensive-minded puckhandlers. Frolov wasn’t drafted to be a shutdown guy. He’s here to rack up points. And we need those points.

The team has some internal issues right now…will be interesting to see how they work them out. IMO…they need Fro to be successful, but they need Fro to be on the same page as everyone else is.
