Purcell update

Teddy Purcell missed practice with flu/cold symptoms, Terry Murray said. Purcell’s status for the game likely won’t be known until tomorrow morning. Trevor Lewis mostly skated with Dustin Brown and Jarret Stoll today. Some good quotes to file shortly, back at the hotel…

Who cares about Purcell, the guy is way too soft for my liking. How many physical forwards do the kings have?? Brown is pretty much the only physical forward on this team. Simmonds doesn’t throw hits anymore. If the Kings want to be playoff bound, then they better makes some changes, i.e., bring some phsysical palyers

Good points Khanon! Perhaps a strategy similar to the Leafs will work well…

    JT,

Thats a bad comparison. The leafs have absolutely no offense, so of course they’re not going to perform well. Also keep in mind that the Leafs revamped their entire blue-line, so of course its going to take a little time to jell.

The kings have offense, so all they have to do is surround the finesse players with a little gritt. Is that too much to ask for??

The Kings needs a second line center, bad.

Why couldn’t he have breathed on Dan Marouelli last night so we could see HIM out of action for a while?

  10. Vasquez says:

Call up Loktionov, have him center the second line. Have Stoll Center the fourth line, send Lewis Down. And PLEASE put a forward on the fourth line (not HARROLD), we need scoring, no matter where it comes from

    Khanon -

Weren’t you bashing Ivanans in another post? Now we’re too soft with him out of the lineup? Make up your mind…..

Kings are back to playing soft! Might as well have one “solid” soft line, so move Frolov to 2 line, bring Purcell down to 3rd.
