This kind of game happens when you play back to back games and the first is against the top team in the NHL. I’m used to seeing tired teams as an ECHL fan. They have to play 3 in 3 nights a few times a month. My brother was an ECHL player and he will tell you that it doesn’t matter how early in the season it is, If you have back to back games and struggle in the first one you suffer thou the 2nd. Let’s just hope they get some much needed rest. Btw ... if not for our dads cancer my brother Nick Ganga would have made to the NHL. He turned down many opportunities so he could stay close to home. However he always outplayed people like Camalliei (my bro was at Ohio state when Cams was at Michigan and I have the tapes to prove it). He still gets encouragement from former teammates like Park from Islanders and Mark Hartigan ( who was with ducks and wings on both most recent cup wins) saying he should be there. But he gave up about 3 years ago. Just a note as it is hockey fights cancer month. I posted this in another post game notes, however I think it fits her as well….
