Quick was on a roll and could have made the difference in that game. I think he could have played back to back. He seems to thrive on that. But they took him out when he was sharp and goaltending was an issue in both games. Ersberg was sluggish, and then Quick was too. I really think that a rested Kings team could have beat the Wings tonight, ie, the first period when they had some energy,they did well. It seemed like most of the penalties (the ones that weren't bad calls) were fatigue related. Thank God we don't have too many back to back nights.
