Faceoff improvement

Faceoff percentage, perhaps the Kings’ biggest weakness in the early part of the season, showed improvement Wednesday night as the Kings won 27 of 50 draws against the Rangers. Here’s what Murray said about last night’s faceoffs…

MURRAY: “Really good. The clean wins, that will improve as we keep going, but what I liked last night was the better support from wingers and the D jumping in to battle for those 50-50 pucks. In fact, we drew a penalty off one in the third period. That’s really good stuff. Stay with it.”
