Hard work in front of the net paid off for the Kings, 5:49 into the game. Alexander Frolov tried to stuff the puck in on a wraparound, Michal Handzus got a good piece of the rebound and Wayne Simmonds pounced on another rebound and put the puck past Nabokov.
