Harrold in, Martinez out

Peter Harrold will play on defense tonight instead of Alec Martinez. The reason, Terry Murray said, was that Martinez sustained a “lower-body injury” in drills AFTER practice yesterday, when he was on the ice working with coaches. Martinez is officially listed as day-to-day, but Murray indicated that he might be out longer than a couple days. By the time the injury took place, everyone was in the locker room, so I didn’t see what it might have been.

The defensive pairings for tonight will be:

Drewiske-Doughty

Johnson-Harrold

Scuderi-Greene

Dustin Brown and Wayne Simmonds practiced today and will skate tonight. More notes and quotes from the skate to come soon…
